| High-risk sites for malignant transformation include the extremities and pelvis. This radiograph demonstrates lesions of osteogenic sarcoma that are scattered throughout the pelvis. Sarcomatous transformation should be suspected when there is a sudden onset of pain, rapid worsening of previous pain, increased deformity, or a rapid increase in the serum alkaline phosphatase level. | |||
