This
illustrates the effect of 200 or 400 mg/day tiludronate given for
12 weeks to patients with Paget's disease whose serum alkaline phosphatase
activity was at least twice the upper limit of normal. The serum alkaline
phosphatase activity was reduced by 58% at 24 weeks by the 400 mg
dose.
